This popular five-day course is designed to help those with no previous programming or database skills to build powerful dynamic web applications. The course can be adapted to your exact requirements but the following outline is a good guide to how the course can be structured:
Day one: You will build a database (or utilise your existing database).
Day two: You will develop database skills, allowing you to query databases for information. You will learn how to hand code statements giving you the ability to query your database from within Adobe Dreamweaver.
Day three: An introduction to Server Scripting (using ASP, Coldfusion or PHP depending upon your requirements - please call if you have any questions regarding the appropriate technology to use). You will cover the concepts behind Server Scripting and how to use these skills to create intuitive websites.
Days four and five: Using Adobe Dreamweaver for dynamic content. You will cover how to link Dreamweaver built sites to the most commonly used professional databases.This allows site content to be easily updated ‘on the fly’ and allows you to build powerful database-driven sites for dynamic data publishing and e-commerce solutions.
The course may be run over five consecutive days or split over several weeks.
Designed for existing Dreamweaver users, this course will give you the skills to create powerful database-driven web solutions quickly and easily. The course has been designed for visual web designers, content managers and web application developers.
