I am looking for a technical expert, someone who lives and breathes technical solutions and has a passion for all things digital. The successful candidate will play a central role in the creation and development of immersive, attention-grabbing applications and interactive content for a raft of leading brands. The role requires a fully rounded, experienced technical director who is able to thrive in response to the exacting demands, pressure and fun of this highly productive, dynamic Digital Agency.
As the Technical Director you will work closely with the technical, creative and production teams to create and implement world-class concepts and messaging to add a point of technical difference and bring brands to life. Teamwork and absolute versatility are essential. This role requires the ability to work in partnership with team members across the entire agency to enable technical output to be produced to the highest standard.
The overall purpose of the role will be to oversee the technical direction, team effectiveness and client relationships for your team, ensuring that this award winning digital agency consistently delivers creative & technical products of the highest standard. The Technical Director will manage and develop a great team of .NET, Flash and Interface Developers, cultivating an environment of sustained creativity and professional growth. As a member of the digital management team you will support the managing director in setting the technical vision and driving these strategies through the entire development process.
The Ideal candidate will have proven leadership / senior management skills within a similar agency environment. You will be someone who is skilled at articulating your passion for Technology and enthusing non technical individuals. You will also be skilled translating technical solutions into meeting business goals. Substantial online advertising and Marketing experience would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a proven people manager with an ability to inspire, motivate, mentor and build commitment. As a experienced Technical Manager / Director it is expected that you will have the ability to delegate tasks and authority whilst maintaining control. You will also be expected to be comfortable Pitching technical solutions to clients agreeing SLA&rsquos and have strong financial management skills.
