As Production Manager you will work alongside the Creative Director, Operation Director and Managing Director managing the day to day running of the agency production function. You will ensure that all print process and production schedules run to time and on budget. The role will involve:
- Project management and coordination of campaigns from Creative approval through to delivery across range of direct response channels (print, web, Email etc.).
- Working with Account Manager on a range of Clients
- responsibility for delivering against schedules, budget and quality standards.
This is a key role within the agency and is a brand new appointment. The responsibilities of the role have previously been undertaken by various members of the agency team but the role has now been highlighted as a key position to move the agency to the next level.
The Production Manager role will not have any direct reports so will not require any man management. This is a process management role.
We are looking for an Agency experienced Production Manager. Someone who has experience of working within a DM agency environment and has the following skills:
- Solid print/repro knowledge
- Knowledge/experience of handling data and laser personalisation
- Supplier liaison and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
- Job management and administration
As this role does not involve managing other members of staff we do not need applicants to have managed staff previously. Rather we are looking for an ambitious individual who is looking for the next step on a career within production.
