Client: Brainscape

Description: Series of photos taken during Brainscape's gigs from October 2007 over a couple of months.

Featuring a wide range of musical styles, Brainscape are a lively covers band who create an electric atmosphere at their shows. Working with them combined two of my pleasures; live music and photography.

My personal approach when shooting a band is to capture the performance as it is experienced by the audience, capturing the gritty, sweaty realism of musicians performing loud music whilst expending a great deal of energy.

The photographs featured here are a very small selection of the events I have covered for the band to feature on their official site.
