BBC Midlands Today is one of the most successful regional programmes in the country, attracting nearly 2 million viewers per day. We&rsquore looking for a talented and pro-active Graphic Designer to join the team to work on a variety of exciting design projects and sequences for news, features,  strands.  will part of an enthusiastic, diverse team, working in one of the busiest news patches in the UK.

Involved in every aspect of the Graphics production and transmission, you will work closely with the newsroom team ensuring high quality and creative designs, within the BBC News Brand. Successful candidates must be able to produce creative designs within tight deadlines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate  a formal graphic design qualification or equivalent and knowledge of the practical and technical aspects of television production, together with experience of working within a live broadcast environment. You&rsquoll need a good understanding and hands on knowledge of Quantel&rsquos new Generation Paintbox, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Curious World Maps, Avid Thunder and would be desirable, but training will be given
