My best giveaway was a stress sheep, I did a charity motorcycle ride around the UK handing them out at clients premises - The Lamb Way Round - got loads of good PR but some very funny looks at service stations when I opened my panniers and 100's of foam sheep tumbled out!
I just explained that I'm Welsh and that seemed to cover it for them...

The Michelin Man shaped sweets which I think were from Internet World a couple years ago were so good we photographed them and used them used them in an
on exhibition stands. The bouncy ball with LEDs that flash when you bounce it is quite cool too.

My dad was given a pioneer vinyl record cleaner more than 20yrs ago...I nicked it and use it to clean my records when I DJ and I've never seen one like it!

I go to exhibitions relating to the energy industry & small businesses - i think the best thing i have got was a crystal keyring from Shell.
Other useful/nice things are a massager from BUPA, a USB key, calender, stickers & teabags from an energy company a stress ball from Channel Five, holding of the FA cup at the Wembley Stadium stand, a free charactercature, an ice scrapper for my car and...a mug. its amazing what u can pick up.

I've had some promotional t-shirts for record labels or artists. I still wear my Roc-A-Fella records t-shirt with pride. I like my N*E*R*D beer-bottle opener too although it doesn't make a noise anymore when you open something like it's meant to. Had some Roots Manuva rizla too but never had much use for them so ebayed them. I had some cigarette lighter from The Beats label but I ebayed that too.

Best gift's (yes plural!) have been a goody bag with one bottle of Romance for Men and one bottle of Romance for women perfumes by Ralph Lauren at the Ralp Lauren Romance launch party.
Also a Burberry bag at the opening of the flagship store down Bond Street.

Best freebie I ever received was a makeup bag at a fashion after party. It was of no use to me whatsoever, but it made me feel important at the time.
Needless to say the makeup bag is still in my room, untouched and unused.

The best promo gift I ever got was a small eucalyptus plant. It was to promote some kind of organic cold remedy I think. It lived on my desk for many happy months until, one Monday, I got in to work to find it looking very yellow, wilted and depressed. So I chucked it in the bin.
