First off, I do believe that women are more emotional over all but how much this impacts on their businesses is, i think, a completely different story. Likewise i believe that men are more driven by tangible means, like money.
But overall i think that no matter what sex you are, if you have created something which you truely believe in then you will have a certain degree of passion and emotion.
I dont think that creative businesses run by women are more successful than male dominated comapnies due to just creativity and emotion. There are many key ingredients to a successful company and they mostly all work together as a complete set. Both sexes are capable of feeling the mentioned emotions so being subjective and saying it is only due to two elements seems abit harsh!

Success is a subjective concept - for some it may just be the length of time a business has survived; while for someone else it maybe the size of the profit margins.
I'm sure gender plays a role but I believe you can only look at individual cases separately. It almost feels childish to say 'women are better than men at running creative businesses' and vice versa.
The thing that really bothers me about gender and the workplace is despite legislation there are often gaps in pay between men and women working in similiar roles.

You're a brave man to suggest we have 'more than our fair share'!
I wonder how the men in the survey answered the question about emotion - they probably asked their better halves...
