Art buyer
Working in collaboration with the production/traffic and creative departments to obtain and manage the purchasing, copyright and scheduling of the visual imagery to be used in print advertising (posters/press/tube cards etc.). This can involve sourcing stock photography, commissioning original photography by working with photographic reps and photographers whose talents are suited to the briefs. The sourcing of illustrators, cartoonists and any form of visual artists or image makers/producers is also within the art buyer’s remit.
