Administrative assistant
Manages and co-ordinates activities of employees engaged in administrative services such as purchasing, maintenance, mail and messenger services, office clerical and support services, printing and telecommunications. Recruits, hires and trains staff. Studies schedules and estimates time, cost and labour estimates for products, services and completion of job assignments. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance and quality of product or service and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyses and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems. Alternative titles include: office manager, facilities manager.
